Using pictures in blog entries

When you want to have pictures as part of your blog entry there are a couple of things to think about. First, you have to adjust the size of the file. You can’t take it straight from the camera to the blog. Using Paint.net is one easy way to do that. You can do a save as, change the name, then it gives you the option to choose the size you want to make it. Second, you have to decide where you want the picture in the entry itself. You will have to resize the canvas too based on how you want it to appear. You can also do this in Paint.net (which is on every computer in the district by the way!) Once you open your picture in the program, you need to click on image and resize; usually, 400 pixels or below makes a good size for an entry. Here is an example of a picture inserted into the entry.
